Due To The Omicron Surge, All Entertainment And Sports Events Have Been Canceled Or Postponed

As of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, there have been a lot of new cancellations and postponements in 2022 due to the Omricon Surge.

Everything at the Slamdance Film Festival in 2022 will be done digitally, including screenings. Now that the festival has been postponed until January 27th, anyone hoping to attend will have to wait.

We’ve had to postpone our best performance party for W Magazine. At Gigi’s in Hollywood, Los Angeles planned a party for January 7.

The Critics Choice Awards were postponed until a new date could be determined. The show was to be hosted by Taye Diggs and Nicole Byer. The new ceremony will continue to be broadcast live on The CW and TBS for a period of time.

This year’s National Board of Review gala will not take place as previously planned. On January 11, it was scheduled to take place in New York City. We’ll let you know when the event is rescheduled at some point.

A Tea Party For The BAFTA Los Angeles Awards Season Will Not Be Held On January 8th

For the second year in a row, there will be no Palm Springs International Film Festival awards ceremony in person. The awards ceremony will not feature any celebrities.

As previously announced, there will be a new date and time for the red carpet arrivals for the film’s world premiere on December 1. As opposed to beginning in January, the “Star Wars” spinoff will now conclude on February 8 instead.

The rise in COVID-19 cases has resulted in numerous cancellations on Broadway. Coronavirus outbreaks have forced productions such as Hamilton, MJ The Musical, Mrs. Doubtfire: The Musical, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, and Mrs. Doubtfire: The Musical to cancel shows. Many Broadway shows, including “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” “Ain’t Too Proud,” “Freestyle Love Supreme,” and “Moulin Rouge!,” have canceled their upcoming performances.

The United Rugby Championship matches scheduled for South Africa on Friday have been canceled due to the Omicron coronavirus variant. Teams that had traveled to South Africa to play the rescheduled matches all returned home.

The Alfred Dunhill Championship Has Also Been Cancelled due to the Omricon Surge

The Alfred Dunhill Championship golf tournament, which was scheduled to take place from December 9 to 12, has been canceled due to an increase in COVID-19 cases in South Africa.
