Doogie Kamealoha, MD – Details on plotline

Doogie Howser was a teenage doctor played by a young Neil Patrick Harris, for those of us who remember him. Doogie Kamealoha, M.D. will maintain the bones of the original program, but will centre on a 16-year-old girl from Hawai’i.

Lahela “Doogie” Kamealoha is a medical genius who is determined, with the support of her friends and family, to combine her profession as a doctor with her enjoyment of being a teenager. Kourtney Kang (How I Met Your Mother, Fresh Off the Boat) is also anticipated to include some of her personal experiences as a mixed-race Asian-American girl into the show’s plot.

Is there any trailer for Doogie Kamealoha, MD?

The official trailer for Doogie Kamealoha, M.D. was published by Disney Plus. Not unexpectedly, the first thing you notice is how beautiful the Hawaiian setting is, but it also appears to be a good family narrative that Disney knows like the back of their hand. I also had to laugh when they mentioned the original Doogie Howser as the basis for Lahela’s moniker.
