Black Suit:

When movie “Kaala Bazaar” was out, Anand’s black coat became the trend. His look was inspired by Gregory Pack. His smile and charm were to die for. Every generation admired and loved him. 

He was even banned from wearing black colour in public after a girl jumped off from the building after seeing him in black attire. This was his charisma. 

Hair Style:

Actor’s ape style hairstyle and his puff was famous among the urban chics of that generation. 

In 1966, after his movie “Pyar Mohabbat” was released, he changed his hairstyle and stopped making puff. Admiring him, young generation again changed its hairstyle. 

His Penchant for Hats:

Hats were the important part of his accessories. From artistic beret to classic tomboy to modern panama, he nailed every style of wearing hats. 

His style was so much famous that people started saying that, “Hume Dev Sahab jesi topi chahie!”

His Walk:

Anand was famous for his sloping walk.

He used a lot of vibrant and psychedelic colours in his fashion wardrobe. When people were scared of experimenting with famous, he did. His colour combination and colour- coding was very excellent. 

He was the one who started the trend of big floral prints and buttoned up turtle-neck shirts. 

He even started the style of draping his sweater over his shoulder, which was replicated by Shahrukh Khan in his mega hit “Mohabbatein”.

Scarfs and Mufflers:

His combination of mufflers and sweater were simply awesome. He paired up bold colourful accessories with big floral motifs. He was the one who made mufflers famous in India.

Dev Anand was a splendid actor. He will always remain in our heart!
