“Close To Me,” C4’s upcoming “psychological suspense thriller,” seems like it will be a hit when it premieres later this year on our screens. Based on Amanda Reynolds’ book, the six-part series follows a lady who discovers a whole year has vanished from her memory in the first episode of the series. Close To Me – Updates on Release Date and Casting Members

“In the coming months,” according to Channel 4 executives, means ideally before Christmas. This will be updated once the broadcaster has confirmed the release date.

Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who) plays Jo Harding’s husband, played by Connie Nielsen (Gladiator, Justice League). Toby Taylor (Us, Doctor Foster) and Rosy McEwen (The Letter Writer, The Angel of Darkness) feature as their children, Finn and Sash.

While Henning Jensen (Countdown Copenhagen) plays Jo’s father Frederik, Ellie Haddington (Enola Holmes) plays her next-door neighbor Wendy. Jared Leto (Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D), Ray Fearon (Da Vinci’s Demons), and Nick Blood (Storm) appear as Jo’s boss Nick and Sash’s lover Thomas. Lorrain Burroughs and Jamie Flatter feature in Hard Sun and So Awkward as Owen and Helen, respectively.

It’s written: “In this five-part series, we follow Jo Harding, a woman who seems to have it all: a beautiful country home, a loving family, and her devoted husband, Robert. In the end, Jo’s recollection of a complete year slips away after an accident in the snow. Despite her best efforts, someone was determined to keep a horrible secret from her as she tried to piece together the events.”
