Clifford the Big Red Dog, starring Jack Whitehall, is getting a sequel

The sequel to Clifford the Big Red Dog was announced just a few days after the movie opened in theatres across the country.

The fact that dogs are loved by all, including giant red CGI ones, was sufficient proof in and of itself.

Just a few days ago, Paramount Pictures released the film adaptation of Norman Bridwell’s book series in the United States and is scheduled to open in the United Kingdom in December.

When Clifford and Emily made $22.2 million in its first five days, the Hollywood Reporter confirmed that there would be a sequel.

One of the central plot points of Clifford the Big Red Dog involves a young girl named Emily and her towering puppy.

Actors Darby Camp and John Cleese also appear in Big Red Dog

Kenan Thompson also appears in the film

If you were to ask Jack Whitehall, who plays Emily’s uncle Casey, what it was like to work with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson on Disney’s Jungle Cruise, he would compare it to filming scenes with a massive red dog.

“On the set of the film, two puppeteers controlled Clifford, a ten-foot-tall animated red puppet. Just to be clear, that’s exactly what we were aiming for “On this, Whitehall elaborated.

His final joke was that “And on Jungle Cruise, Dwayne is also a puppet,” was also a puppet on the Jungle Cruise. “With three men riding on top of each other’s shoulders, they are able to CGI him into the scene. My reputation has grown as someone who can stand up to computer-generated imagery.”

It appears that Jack’s previous work on the Jungle Cruise sequel, which was recently confirmed, will benefit him because of his work on Clifford the Big Red Dog.

Walt Disney Pictures has announced that a sequel is in the works, with the likes of Frank Wolff (Dwayne Johnson) and Dr. Lily Houghton (Emily Blunt) returning, along with a host of other supporting characters.
