This week, various images of the OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone and its protective cover appeared online. Now, further information about the impending smartphone has emerged. In terms of performance and battery life, the OnePlus 9 Pro appears to have an edge over its predecessor.
The OnePlus 10 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, a reliable source claims. However, a new report indicates that this year’s cellphone may also include an improved front-facing selfie camera instead of the 2-megapixel monochrome sensor now found on the device.
The OnePlus 10 Pro is expected to include a 6.7-inch QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, according to an alleged tipster named Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka OnLeaks).
Based on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, the smartphone might contain up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, depending on the configuration. A 5,000mAh battery, up from the 4,500mAh in the current OnePlus 9 Pro, is also rumoured to be included in the device. It is also expected to have an IP68 rating.
A 48-megapixel primary sensor will be joined by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens on the10 Pro this year, according to a number of reports.
This year’s flagship OnePlus 9 Pro has already announced that the firm will keep its zoom capabilities, although it is presently uncertain if the company will use a new camera sensor in 2022. In addition, a 32-megapixel front-facing camera is expected to be included, an improvement over the current model’s 16-megapixel camera.
The left side of the OnePlus 10 Pro is rumored to house a huge square-shaped camera module when it launches later this year
Also lately, it was revealed that the volume buttons may be placed on the left side, while the power button and alert slider may be set on the other side of the smartphone.
Previous reports have indicated that the OnePlus 10 Pro might be released in China as early as January, with a global launch anticipated for the first quarter of the following year.
