Brie Larson teases Captain Marvel 2 shooting update

Bride Larson has been waxing poetic about Captain Marvel 2’s filming experience. The Marvels is now in production in London, with Carol Danvers getting up as early as 4.30am most days to prepare for work. She called SiriusXM from her hotel room and told them about her experiences.

While working on a picture like this, “it’s very weird. There are big sets and a lot of people on site. There are also a lot of expert specialty stuff.” The event was very unique,” she said.

In my mind, it’s like going to my own little Disneyland every single day, since they’re constructing all these amazing worlds that no one else knows about or has the opportunity to see.”

It’s “very amazing, exciting, and odd” to be working on sets that are “larger than you can imagine right now.” Nick Fury from the original film’s star Samuel L. Jackson hinted to his role in the sequel on Instagram this week.

“I’m going to be the badass,” he said. “I’m going to be the badass!” Captain Marvel is available on DVD, Blu-ray, and digital download through Disney+. The Marvels, the sequel, is set to be released on November 11, 2022, according to the official release date.

What Else Do We Know?

Brie Larson promises “juicy” revelations in Captain Marvel 2. Starring as Air Force pilot Carol Danvers in 2019’s Captain Marvel, the actress makes her MCU debut. In spite of a mixed reception from viewers, the film got mostly good reviews from critics and made over $1.1 billion at the box office, making it one of nine MCU films to achieve this accomplishment. It was a no-brainer to make a sequel, which is now under production under the title The Marvels. Next year’s publication date is yet to be determined.

“Marvel ”-named heroes will appear in the Captain Marvel sequel, as the title suggests. Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), Larson’s very own superfan, will also have a role in the film, after her introduction in the upcoming Disney+ series Ms. Marvel. After originally debuting in Captain Marvel as a kid, Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) will also be returning after recently obtaining abilities in Disney+’s WandaVision, which aired earlier this year. Nia DeCosta, who is currently hot off her work on Candyman, has been recruited to helm these trio of heroes.

Larson recently appeared on the Jess Cagle show, where she was questioned about The Marvels. Rather than reveal the film’s secrets, Larson left hosts Jess Cagle and Julia Cunningham with a cryptic, yet “juicy” tease. Here’s what Larson had to say, as reported by Twitter user infinitebrie:

Gosh. Many things are happening. Lots of juicy stuff is going on that I can’t talk about since it’s classified. And it’s an excellent one! And you’ll be ecstatic about it.

The Marvels is Larson’s second solo picture and her third MCU feature overall, so she’s familiar with Marvel’s rigorous code of secrecy, and she wasn’t about to make a mistake and expose anything she shouldn’t have in her second solo movie. On the basis of so little information, it’s hard to guess what secrets Larson is alluding to, although there have been a few speculations recently about the film’s antagonists, which might be what Larson is pointing at.

Recent evidence shows that Jude Law will resume his role as Yon-Rogg, in addition to Zawe Ashton. However, Larson seemed to be hinting to something considerably more significant. The MCU has a lot to look forward to after Black Widow, in which Yelena Belova shot Hawkeye, and Loki, in which Sylvia created the cosmos. Before The Marvels, there will be six MCU films and a plethora of Disney+ series. Ms. Marvel will be directly linked to The Avengers, thus Captain Marvel 2’s “juicy” secrets will be disclosed. Captain Marvel 2 will be released in theatres on March 8, 2019.
