Blake Lively bids ‘I’m avail’ to husband Ryan Reynolds’ newly-purchased Wrexham A.F.C. while sharing a photo of her youth soccer team from 1994

With a throwback on Sunday, Blake Lively will offer an opportunity to play Welsh football team Wrexham A.F.C.’

Fortunately, she’s literally in bed with Blake’s team owner, Ryan Reynolds, 44, who bought the former fan team in February with his own money. Blake, a six-year-old girl from Los Angeles, California, was dressed in her AYSO soccer uniform.

Before tagging the Welsh football club with “I’m available,” she added the hashtag ‘#worldcup1994’ to her Instagram story.

Bridget Vreeland, the sports stunner of The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants franchise, continued to use her on-screen youth football experience as Bridget Vreeland, the actress Gossip Girl.

While her post was fine, her expectations were not unrealistic, because her husband Rob McElhenney, an actor from Philadelphia, bought a football team in February, It’s Always Sunny.

Reynolds and McElhenney are potential investors

Reynolds and McElhenney were publicly named potential investors of the 5th level soccer team in September, after months of secret investment meetings.

The pair has now successfully taken over with a $2.5M investment, promising to increase marketing with their own money. The team has achieved genuine success after both have professed a “emotional connection.”

“It is a special day for both of us to become the final managers in Wrexham AFC’s long and illustrious history,” the couple said in a statement.

‘With increased participation and an improved stadium, we can now pursue our goal of expanding our team and restoring it to the EFL, while also making a positive difference in the wider community of Wrexham,’ says the club’s president.

A large number of new supporters have also been formed, such as Reynolds Aviation Gin and the new social media partnership TikTok, the logo of which has now been emblazoned on the team’s Red T-shirts.

The duo is also working on a new ‘Welcome To Wrexham’ documentary series, which FX has ordered for a two-week run.

The series focuses on the working-class town of Northern Wales and the team’s humble beginnings, as well as Reynolds and MacElhenney’s study of football club ownership.
