The creation by James Cameron named Avatar: The Way of Water, becomes the highest-grossing film of all time worldwide. The epic science fiction sequel of the 2009 film is knitting money like hell. According to the reports, the film has exceeded $1.5 Billion globally in just 21 days and is unbeatable at the box office, especially in India.

The dazzling American sequel was premiered on 16 December 2022 and since day one it’s printing money endlessly. On the release day, the film grossed 40.50 crores and becomes the second-highest box office opener after Avengers: Endgame. If we check out its five-day records the movie fell drastically and needed a solid grip but the new year (2023) turns the whole situation upside down.
The blockbusting film broke all the records and scored the 3rd highest new year’s day of all time. It has smashed the record of the biggest post-pandemic film named Spider-Man: No Way Home and earned a sum of $444.41 million, which is really commendable! It broke the record of Spider-Man in North America and is going to hit the walls of Top Gun: Maverick’s soon. If we talk about its earnings of 1st January 2023 only, then it earned $24.4 million in just one day.

Generally, the pace of movies slows down as the days increase but this movie is not like others. This movie denied to slow down as its box office day 19 witnessed the routine dip. It is going to smash the lifetime collection of Dangal and has all chances to jump in the upcoming days. On the 19th day, the movie added 5 crores more to the director’s pocket and celebrated a fantastic Tuesday.
The box office collection hasn’t stopped yet. The movie’s phenomenal run is still on as in the third week the movie added Rs 56.50 crore in the total of Rs 340.5 crore. This film is seriously unbeatable with a running time of more than $1516.5M and is still increasing day by day.
Currently, the film which stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana is now the number 10 biggest movie ever globally. In Europe, it’s the second highest-grossing film of the Covid-19 pandemic era after Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Overall, the ambitious film of Cameron has created a deep buzz in everyone’s mind and continued its strong pace in India as well as North America. If the speed remains the same then it soon going to overtake its first film which was released in 2016 and crossed the $3 billion mark.
