The dark thriller suspense received well-appraisal from the fans. It revolved around the mission to find kidnapped daughter of the actor, Rahul Bhat whose daughter got disappeared from the parked car.

Exciting thriller will now be having a sequel. But with the pinch of twist.
Ajay Bahl will be directing the movie instead of Anurag Kashyap this time. He will be co-producer in this franchise.

What is Ajay Bahl saying on this?
On this, Ajay Bahl said that, “I actually contacted Anurag Kashyap and showed him the script. This was a thriller and dark but was very relevant to its first part. Anurag sir loved it. I will I can accolade more about the story. It is something that won’t be seen in typical thrillers.”
He added on, “The idea of releasing franchise of Ugly was the idea of Anurag sir. He suggested me to play as screenwriter in Ugly 2. Anurag sir directed Ugly 1 and I will handle Ugly 2. And Ugly 3 will be directed by some other director.”
Producers will remain the same!
“This time Ugly will focus on the dark areas of life.”
Cast of “Ugly 2”:
Rahul Bhat played as protagonist in Ugly 1. He will remain same in Ugly 2 too.
Bhat has worked in “Section 375” starring Akshay Khanna which was again directed by Ajay Bahl.

“I am very excited for Ugly 2. I loved working in Ugly 1 of 2013 and that was damn fabulous movie ever. I feel that my script was complimenting with the movie and this was what a script writer is supposed to do.” Ajay Bahl said.
