Don’t Look Up should be at the top of your list of forthcoming films on Netflix this year. As part of Netflix’s 2021 film preview teaser, Don’t Look Up was included.

The teaser for Don’t Look Up closes off the list of new movies that will be available on Netflix later this year. The film of the year? We’re not sure about you, but we think Netflix knows that!

Considering the plot and star-studded cast, this isn’t surprising. Unfortunately, there are few details concerning IT, but we have the most vital information you need to know!

Everyone was eager to learn more about the film when it was announced in 2019. Adam McKay, the director of Step Brothers, has signed on to write and direct the movie.

The film’s production began in November 2020, and the actors and crew have been filming in Massachusetts for three months straight. Post-production on the Netflix film started in February 2021, after principal photography was officially completed.

No official release date has been announced for Don’t Look Up, but we’re guessing that it’ll be in the fall or winter. McKay told on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast that Don’t Look Up is likely to release in November or December, according to IndieWire.

Because the 2021 Academy Awards are just around the corner, it is logical for the picture to debut in one of these months.

We thought you had seen an all-star cast before? You’d better think again! Many well-known actors and actresses are featured in the cast of Don’t Look Up. Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence are the two leading stars.

Also joining the cast are Oscar winners Cate Blanchett and Meryl Streep. We are curious to see what parts these ladies will take on in the future. In addition, Jonah Hill, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Matthew Perry, Tyler Perry, Chris Evans, and many others will be involved in the picture in some manner, according to Variety.

Do not look up is about two astronomers who go on a media tour to warn people about a comet that will kill humanity if it hits Earth. As Randall Mindy, DiCaprio takes the role, while Lawrence plays Kate Dibiasky.

Keeping in mind that this is a dark comedy, DiCaprio and Lawrence will have many amusing moments. How the two characters will interact and why they feel compelled to warn the public intrigues us.

On August 1, a 27-second teaser for Don’t Look Up was released online. From the preview, we know we’re in for a wild journey!

We witness DiCaprio’s character going into a panic in this trailer. In the next scene, Dr Mindy and Kate are pleading with the Chief of Staff (Jonah Hill) in the Oval Office to take action. Last but not least, we get our first look at Meryl Streep’s role. She portrays Janie Orlean, the President of the United States of America.

However, Dr Mindy’s mental state is referred to in jest by Jonah Hill’s character. Nevertheless, what we see in this preview is promising!

Netflix will release Don’t Look Up’s official trailer as we near the end of the year, along with more teases and a release date announcement.
