Jordan Peele shattered box office records with his second film Us in 2019. Recently, he’s been creating blockbuster shows and movies, including Lovecraft Country, The Twilight Zone, and Candyman.

Peele is reunited with getting Out’s breakout star, Daniel Kaluuya, for Nope’s next project. The release date of 2022 has been selected for the film.
With the help of social media, Peele revealed the title and release date of his third picture. Only one year after it was announced, Nope is slated to hit the big screen on July 22, 2022. A solitary cloud emoji appears in the caption of Peele’s Instagram picture.

There will also be Keke Palmer, Daniel Kaluuya, and Steven Yeun in the cast. Peele has enlisted Daniel Kaluuya, his breakout actor from getting Out, to play the title character. This year, he won Best Supporting Actor for his work as Fred Hampton in Judas and the Black Messiah, his second Oscar nomination after Get Out.

This will be Keke Palmer’s first significant dramatic role since Hustlers, which she starred in early 2019. According to Collider, there were suspicions at the time of her casting that she would play a villain in the film. To confirm these rumors, we’ll have to wait for the trailer.

Steven Yeun, a recent Oscar candidate for his role in Minari, rounds out the principal cast. In addition to The Walking Dead, Yeun also starred in Burning, which was released in 2018.
