Sony’s PlayStation 5 is really driving people crazy. with an extremely cool design and performance, the console is really winning people’s hearts and we can’t just wait to try it out. The console has become so popular that it gets out of stock very quickly after the sale.
Recently a company named SUP3R5 saw the opportunity here and produced the PS5 in black edition. The company had also made black PS2 in the past. The company only made a few quantities of the console, 304 to be exact. The console got out of stock in no time. The all 304 pieces sold instantly.
The dark version would come with a colourful PlayStation logo and coloured button on Dual Sense controllers. The console became available in January and it got out of stock very quickly.
Unfortunately, all the orders had to be cancelled after the company started receiving threats which would compromise with the safety of their team.
The company released a statement in which they said that their company had been receiving credible threats to their safety. They were going to take those threats seriously as they could not risk the safety and wellbeing of their team.
Though, there is not any information from the company about whom the threat came from, neither we could figure out whether it was the disappointed customers who didn’t get the product or it was Sony who took the action as the black one getting more popular. We will be looking for that and might get the answers soon.
The company has said that the existing orders will be cancelled and refunded soon. They wanted it to be a nostalgic moment but people don’t want to make that happen.
When the black PS5 got live, a lot of people faced problems with ordering. Many users even got charged for the order while the order was not made. The users who made payment through PayPal are successfully getting their payment back.
But don’t you worry. So, what if the black console got cancelled, there is still the white one available from Sony which does not have any difference in the performance. You can opt for that variant of the console which also comes in two options, The disk one and Digital one. You can buy either of the model as per your need and want.
