There is a lot of anime series on Netflix, but there are very few like the Aggretsuko. The very fan-favorite anime is soon expected to drop its season 5. While the information on season 5 is limited at the moment, we have tried to piece together the bits of information to make a collective whole.

The anime was created by Rarecho for Netflix in 2018. Rarecho has written the screenplay for all the previous 4 seasons himself and should also be writing the screenplay for season 5.
Furthermore, the anime so far has 40 episodes, 10 per season, across 4 seasons with each episode being around 15 to 23 minutes long.
Moreover, the show has an IMDb rating of 8 out of 10. Season 5 should also have 10 episodes which are most likely going to be produced by Fanworks.
But, no trailer, teaser or first look pictures have been revealed so far for season 5. Nor has there been any hint towards the possible release date. We are thinking that all these things will soon be announced by Netflix, as they are the ones who will be releasing season 5.

Officially, no announcement for the cast of season 5 has been made. We think that the cast from season 4 will come back in season 5. Thus, we should see Erica Mendez voice Retsuko, Josh Petersdorf voice Director Ton, Katelyn Gault voice Fenneko, Ben Diskin voice Haida and G.K. Bowes voice Director Gori.

Season 5 plot
In season 5, we expect that Retsuko will finally be able to deal with the negative treatment that she is was subjected to in the entire season 4. Also, we will see the repercussions of Haida’s confession about his involvement in the scam caused by the Hyena. In season 5, the relationship of Retsuko and Haida will also be tested due to the fact that they both are dealing with very stressful messes in their lives that will definitely affect their relationship.
It is true that season 5 will have a lot more in it apart from what we have just discussed. What exactly all these things are going to be will only be known when season 5 will arrive at Netflix and that may take a while to happen.
