About Agent Carter
The show was created in 2015 by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. They adapted the Marvel comic of the name Peggy Carter that was written by none other than Stanley. The stories for season 1 of the show were written by Christopher and Stephen only with the direction being done by Louis D’Esposito. For season 2, the story writer was Brant Englestein with Lawrence Trilling as the director. The production for the season was though done by the same group of companies. They are ABC Studios, Marvel Television, and F&B Fazekas & Butters. Season 1 was released on 6th January 2015 with the season coming out a year later on 19th January 2016. The plot of the series focuses on the life of Peggy Carter, who is an agent at the SSR which stands for Strategic Scientific Reserve. At the start of season 1, it is the year 1946.
Peggy at this time is employed at the office of SSR and is really not an agent. But then her dear friend Howard Stark is framed for supplying weapons to enemies of the USA.
To prove him innocent, Peggy secretly works with Howard and his butler Edwin Jarvis. Then in season 2, a lot more things happen that are on an even bigger scale and pose a greater risk.
