A new series of Love Island will premiere in 2021

Liam Reardon and Millie Court have been declared the winners of Love Island’s 2021 series. Today (August 23), finalists Liam and Millie competed against each other for a chance to be crowned this year’s winners and go away with the £50,000 prize money.

Laura Whitmore arrived at the Majorca resort to announce the results of the audience vote after catching viewers up on what the surviving Islanders were up to on the last day in the villa – you know, the typical… spa day, soppy speech writing, dancing classes, and a nice supper. nThey were followed by Faye and Teddy, who were eliminated in third place.

Whitmore then questioned each of the two surviving couples, asking them why they were attracted to each other and about their separate Casa Amor mishaps. Finally, she announced that Liam and Millie were the show’s newest winners after a tense ad break.

We shouldn’t be surprised that the twosome shared the £50k instead of taking it – even if that option has never been employed in Love Island history. We want to thank our Islanders for a fantastic series, Whitmore remarked. ‘But we’d want to thank you everybody for watching!’
