Christmas is almost only a month away now and Christmas movies are already here. While the new ones are coming, the old ones from previous years are also being discussed. Today, we are discussing a very adored Christmas movie that is getting a sequel this season. Stay with us to find out everything about this movie and the sequel.
A CALIFORNIA CHRISTMAS AND ITS SEQUEL
This movie came out on 14th December 2020 on Netflix. The movie gained popularity very quickly and remained on the top 10 list for a very long time.
Shaun Piccinino directed the movie and Lauren Swickard wrote the screenplay for the movie.
Due to its huge success, the production house named ESX Entertainment has announced that they have started the production for the sequel of the movie which has been titled “A California Christmas: City Lights”.
The trailer for the sequel is available on the official site of Netflix and the sequel itself will hit Netflix on 16th December 2021.
The sequel is also being directed by Shaun Piccinino and Lauren Swickard has once again written the screenplay for the sequel.
CAST AND PLOT FOR THE SEQUEL
The sequel will see the return of Lauren Swickard and Josh Swickard as the on-screen couple. Interestingly Lauren and Josh are a real-life couple as well.
The first movie showed us the romance between the two. The sequel will take the narrative to a bigger city, namely San Fransisco.
The two are going there to handle the family business in San Fransisco where they will soon get married as well.
