Publication Names Rep. Tyrone Brooks As Its Man Of The Year

(12/27/07) State Rep. Tyrone Brooks, D-Atlanta, has been named Man of the Year by The Georgia Informer, a publication that claims 44,000 readers in all 159 Georgia counties.

Brooks was cited in particular for his work towards solving the Moore’s Ford killings in 1946. The publication hailed him for 50 years of “tireless service” in “the struggle for freedom, justice and equality.”
