Today, our too own Mike Celestino took a stroll across the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort for one of our Park Walk and Talks, and he was able to peruse the shelves of the stores of the area. While not everything may be new, many different selections caught our eye.
As is the standard these days, masks are needed while in Downtown Disney, and there are various new Halloween subjected ones to help enjoy the season. Themed to Disney – Pixar’s Coco, we saw a dress along with a theme with multiple flags and a handbag build to look similar to a skull at the Disney Dress Shop. Also, a Haunted Mansion dress emphasizing stylized versions of the personas highlighted in the attraction and a cardholder at the Disney Dress Shop, Minnie Mouse ears emphasizing the iconic wallpaper symbol, and a bag showing the famous Hitchhiking Ghosts.
We also observed various nice button-down shirts, one featuring our feathered friends from the Enchanted Tiki Room, and another keeping with the spooky theme and showcasing some of the Disney villains, including Maleficent, Hades, Ursula, and Dr. Facilier. And while not a traditional spirit jersey in its look, this Oogie Boogie Spirit Jersey features his name across the back. But somewhat of a small icon on the front, the famous character from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare before Christmas has face emblazoned across the entire front of the trendy top.
